How to know if my phone is REALLY charging?

So apart from checking the percentage on the top of the screen, is there any other way to know if my phone is really charging? I’m asking this because it seems like the percentage in the status bar sometimes fails to reflect the actual charging progress.

I’ve tried to check out the Battery Level chart in the Settings, and there’s this info about “Last Charged to X%”. But the thing is, sometimes this info is updated in real time, but sometimes it isn't.

For example, in the following screenshot, it’s shown that while the percentage on the top of the screen says my phone is charged to 75%, the information in the Battery Level says it’s “Last Charged to 67% 30m ago”. Does this mean that my phone isn’t really charging? If not, is there a way to know for sure that the phone is charging? I’ve also tried to restart the phone, but the percentage in the status bar and the stat in the Settings still don’t match.

Thanks in advance!
