iPhone 14 Pro won’t charge on USB A anymore ???

As of about a week ago my iPhone 14 Pro won’t charge with a USB A. I’ve tried multiple cords two blocks and even a car charger block.

is this how it’s supposed to work? If so I have to buy all new cords and blocks. I only have one USB C capable block. It’s a bummer if I gotta buy more

The iPhone 14 Pro has three "charging" options:

  1. MagSafe wireless charging up to 15W
  2. Qi wireless charging up to 7.5W
  3. Charging via USB to computer system or power adapter

For the third item, it shouldn't matter if the computer port is USB-C or USB-A. Same for the power adapter, as, long as you are using the proper charging cable.

Other than trying different adapters, have you tried resetting your iPhone? ... or anything else?
