Iphone 13 mini won’t charge in 2023 prius prime qi charger

I was having the same problem charging my iPhone 13 Mini wirelessly in my 2023 Prius Prime. It would not charge with or without the case. Today I tried again put placed the phone as far right as possible up against the right wall when placing it in the charger and it worked! It actually worked with the case. Try loading the phone to the right fully against the right wall.

Hello, I'm having the same issue in my 2023 Prius with my 13 Pro Max. I've tried in several MagSafe compatible cases including an Apple branded silicone case. None of the troubleshooting in the links you've posted here provide any solutions I haven't already tried. The phone will charge in the Prius if I remove the case, and it charges in the case on all other Qi pad chargers I own. I have confirmed the functionality of the car's hardware with an iPhone 12 Pro in a non-apple certified case and a Samsung S23 in an Otterbox Defender. Both work without issue so it seems to me the issue does not lie within the size of the phone or the type of case. for reference, the qi charger in the new Prius is mounted in a pocket vertically and held against the charge pad with sprung arms, the phone does not lay flat. The issue persists when the car is parked as well, so it doesn't seem to be an issue of the phone being vibrated or shifted either.

"If you're trying to charge wirelessly with an iPhone 8 or later, first make sure that you can charge with the USB cable that came with your device. If that works, then get help with wireless charging. For a third-party accessory, check that it's Apple certified."

Follow up on my last message. My iPhone 13 mini did charge in the 2023 Prius Prime for about 10 minutes then got too hot and stopped charging to cool off.
