Sonoma 14.5 current - both my 24" iMac and my MacBook Air Laptop Calculator App in the DIVIDE function
( 4 divided by 2) when you enter 4 - all OK...enter DIVIDE function button and you get a garble of digits before the divide function replies. Any one experience this?

I can confirm I'm seeing what FoxFifth and Mac Jim ID are seeing. Except when the five-week-old kitten starts woking around on the keyboard (his latest thing).
I'm not getting that on an iMac 24" M1 running macOS Sonoma 14.6.
This is what I see after enter 4, then the divide button.
