Hello Jeff

Thanks for your help.

I did the process twice (“If there is no improvement you’ll need to unpair the Watch from your iPhone, force restart the Watch and the iPhone and lastly pair the two devices again. Battery usage will return to normal in 24 to 72 hours.”).

No improvement on my side, batterie status at 90%, drain in 1 hour.. do you have any other process to solve the issue?

thanks!

I tried the forced restart, but each time, the screen responds with one color from gold to green as if rows are being turned on and off. This light show varies but sometimes results in showing the time and a yellow gold lightning bolt on the screen. But nevertheless I don’t get an Apple logo and eventually the screen goes black. It was in the charger all night and turned on to the flashlight while I was sleeping. If you ask me for a technical opinion…. It’s functioning less than ideally…..

any other way to force reboot?

Thanks Jeff. My screen looks like the flashlight is on and I can’t maneuver to any app. It could be that the power is too low, so I’m charging it to see it that allows to change anything like faces or complications or turn off the flashlight which is surely glitching. Eventually, I might have to drive up to the Apple Store, but I do appreciate the tips

Hi, your advice helped me on 10.5, thanks for that. However, on 10.6 this procedure unfortunately does not seem to help. I have done this twice, but still get 66% battery in the morning after a full charge before sleep. Previously it was 88-89%.

As to your recommendation to change the watch face due to e.g. complications, I still use the same standard watch face as on 10.5. So this was not changed from 10.5 to 10.6 and should not have caused the battery drain.

I am having the same issue since the latest update. I have done all the unpairing and force restarts etc mentioned in the posts above but I get no more than 8 hours of battery life now. And it only lasts that long if I put it onto low power mode. Otherwise it is gone in 6 hours. It is better than it was when I first updated where I only got 2 hours before I needed to recharge it. But not acceptable. I can’t wear my watch all day anymore. So I’m not getting all my steps or activity anymore.
