Deleted App Store - not hidden, not in search.

I deleted my son’s App Store as he had managed to put tik tok on. Now he is older I went to put it back on by allowing app purchases but found I’d already done that, just not in-app purchases. I’ve scrolled left and used search bar but it only shows Wallet, no App Store. I feel really bad as he can’t join a fantasy league with his dad and brothers. What can I do? I thought it was hidden but it isn’t. He can’t update anything either.

Do I have to do a factory reset? Which would lose his progress on games. I presume if you restore from backup it would still be missing? Help would be really appreciated. He uses an SE 2022.
