WhatsApp keeps saying storage is full when it’s not!

Contact WhatsApp for support. They claim that the app calculates free storage differently then what is actually available on the device without providing any explanation. The only solution they offer is to further remove WhatsApp data.

I don't disagree with you at all, but Apple has no control over what methods WhatsApp uses to back app your data. They obviously know that users have complained about it, since they have provided that FAQ, but don't seem to care enough to do anything about it. You can write a review for the app in the App Store to express your displeasure and also alert other users who may be looking to download the app. A complaint by a single user by email often times goes unnoticed, been when they are aware that others are able to see your complaint, they may find it necessary to provide a solution.

thanks man for your help but this is not a solution to keep deleting. They can’t limit a person for an example to only have 40GB data, especially that the iPhone storage and the iCloud storage are massive and free.

And yet, that is exactly what WhatsApp is doing.

If enough users complain to WhatsApp, maybe they will listen.
