Can I still listen to my uploaded CDs on iCloud if I cancel my Apple Music subscription?

If I cancel my Music subscription, will I still be able to access/listen to my own CD that I have upload to iCloud?

Jim,

Therefore since these are all my CDs, that I bought years ago and I am just using iCloud, to listen to the music from ANY of my Apple devices, then I do not need to pay $10.99 a month just to use the application "Music." Correct?

Thanks you,

Roger

Correct. You can use the Apple Music application without a subscription to the Apple Music service.

You cannot use the iCloud Music library without the subscription.

You will need to manually sync your songs from the computer to your other devices to access them there without a paid subscription.

Hi,

You will no longer be able to use iCloud music library. If the music is not already on your computer, you will need to download the music. Make sure that if you have set download format to lossless or hi-res, change download format to 256 Kbps then remove download and re-download music.

Music obtained from Apple Music subscription will no longer be playable.
