0 Dispatch queue: com.apple.main-thread crashing when I open Activity Monitor

I just recharged my mac after about a month of not using it. I opened it up and it worked fine, but it was overheating and the fans turned on right as the computer booted up. I went into task manger to check if my ram or cpu was overloaded, but nothing was showing any sign of stress. So I scrolled through some forums and go to re-open activity monitor and it crashed. I have the crash log below. Process:

Thanks for the crash report but it tells us nothing valuable.


It will help us get a good idea of what is causing your problem if you provide a report of your system, that way we do not have to play 20 questions with you. Once you have you downloaded the app and installed it, please run the report and save it. This report will help us get a good idea what has been installed on your system and help us be able to diagnose what may be wrong.
