iOS Focus Calls from Contacts Only

I am trying to set up a focus mode that eliminates phone calls and texts from people that are not in my contact list (which is lengthy). I want to keep notifications, app behavior, and badges as normal. I have tried a few configurations but I still get calls/texts from random numbers. What should my configuration be? Thanks in advance.

Yes, I'm basically just screening calls when this Focus is on. The problem I'm running into is that text notifications are only happening for people listed in the People/Allow Notifications From list. I can't find a way to allow text notifications from everyone while restricting the list of allowed callers. Specifically allowing Messages in Apps/Allow Notifications From list does not override this. It seems no one at Apple thought that at times I might want to receive texts from everyone, but calls from only certain people. Am I missing something? Is there another way I can limit who's calling but still allow all texts and other notifications?

iPhone with focus allow call only from Contacts will allow any calls I want to use a Focus on my phone that is limiting the calls to only be allowed from Contacts. When I have the focus on, I still get calls from any random number that comes through to the phone. The only way to limit non contact is to turn on the Silence Unknow Calls, however I would like the Focus to replace that function. It seems that this should work but any phone number that calls will get through. Is this broken and Apple is not fixing it? Thanks!

Focus mode does not restrict notifications to allowed list. Set a focus mode to allow notifications for calls from only allowed people. But all phone calls from other contacts and non contacts continue to get through without restriction. According to the documentation, this is not working properly. Only allowed contacts should be getting through.

That behavior can be achieved by doing Settings > Phone > Silence Unknown Callers.
