I have gone into focus and turned on DND. I have chosen only my husband as a favorite to call through in an emergency. I am getting calls, voicemails, texts spam and otherwise and “maybe important notifications” what ever that new thing is. I have IPhone 15 Pro Max and IOS 18.3.2 I am so over this focus feature! I want the simple do not disturb feature added back like it used to be!

Go to: Settings > Focus > Do Not Disturb. Now, make sure “Intelligent Breakthrough & Silencing” is off.
Then scroll a bit down and tap on “People”. Make sure “Allow Notifications From” is selected. Then ensure only the people you want to be able to call you while the Focus is enabled are selected.
Then scroll down, and in the “Allow Calls From” section, select “Allowed People Only.” You’ll decide if you want to enable “Allow Repeated Calls” at the bottom.
Now tap the “Back” arrow. Then tap “Apps”. Now ensure that “Allow Notifications From” is selected. Then make sure there are no apps selected in the section believe that. Lastly make sure “Time Sensitive Notifications” is turned off.
