Dropbox in my Finder

I recently upgraded my computer to a MacBook Pro and I cannot figure out how to get Dropbox into the sidebar of my Finder. This was how it was set up on my old Pro. It seems to be called Documents for Dropbox now and is cumbersome to work with. I can no longer open a document and work with it and have it save automatically in Dropbox. Now I have to download the document, work on it, save it and then move it back into Documents for Dropbox. Is there a way to change this? I'd like to have it in my Finder sidebar again.

For some reason this doesn't work on this computer. Dropbox is completely different. Dropbox is operating as a separate entity that I can't open as a file on my computer. It's operating as a program that I have to open and operate within the program. On my old Mac I would have Dropbox on my Finder sidebar (like you pictured). From there I would be able to open new tabs and open files straight into the Preview program. Thus far, on this new Mac, I am not able to do this. I have to download files and then bring them into Preview (or another program). Save them and then upload them back into Documents for Dropbox. I'm baffled.

Verify your Finder Settings>Sidebar>Locations

IF not move your mouse to the right side to reveal the hidden caret and spin it open
