Click on your Desktop to bring up the Finder, then under the Finder menu item, choose Settings. You will see this screen after choosing the Sidebar option and select what you want to see in the Sidebar along with the Favorites.

This will show what is visible in the Finder sidebar to show iCloud and Locations along with your Favorites, so not sure if the issue you are having is specific to DropBox.

No Problem. We are here to help and I welcome you to this support site. If you have any other questions, feel free to post a new question at any time.

While computers no longer come with a User Guide, I can point you to the online versions that may help you get familiar with your new machine. We are not Windows bashers and I feel there is a place for both platforms in the market, but we are happy to have you.
