Stuck in "Setting up your Apple ID..." when transferring data from my old iPhone

Hi there,

I'm having the same issue as described in Stuck in setting up my Apple ID when tran… - Apple Community

Basically, I'm trying to set up and transfer data to my new iPhone from my old one, using the Quick Start feature. Everything goes as normal up until the point where the new one reaches the "Setting up your Apple ID..." screen and it just stays there.

I've done what was suggested in the above-mentioned discussion, restarted, started over again, everything I could think of but still nothing.

Can't use the iCloud back up option to transfer all my data because the backup on the old iPhone is taking 7+ hours to complete.

Any ideas?

New phone: 13 Pro 128GB, iOS 17.6

Old phone: XS 64GB, iOS 17.5.1

iPhone 13 Pro, iOS 17

Please disregard, I figured it out. It was quite simple, for anyone having similar issues:

Shortly after posting this question, I thought to check if the iOS on the old phone was up to date, and to my surprise it wasn't. I had installed an update a couple of weeks earlier, which is why this didn't come to mind sooner.

Once both the XS and the 13 Pro were on iOS 17.6, I reset the new 13P again and the data transfer via Quick Start feature went smoothly and completed in about 30 minutes.
