New iPhone 15 quick start from iPhone 7

When quick starting to transfer all data from my previous iPhone 7, it seems there is a problem with my Apple ID identification which does not allow the process to go through.I've restarted 10 times already and getting very annoyed.

Transferring data from broken iPhone SE to iPhone 10S using Apple ID I am not that knowledgeable in Apple devices so I really need help to understand this process. Recently, my iPhone SE broke and cannot be opened anymore. I know it’s Apple ID password and email (?) I also just got my father’s used iPhone 10S already connected to his Apple ID but he changed it to my previous phone number because he got a new iPhone 17 from which he has all his data from his iPhone 10S transferred. Now, I need help transferring all my data (?) from my old iPhone SE to this iPhone 10S. I want pictures, contacts, etc. back. Is this possible, and how? Was there anything that had to be “backed up” from my iPhone SE? Do I need one of those wires that connect from one phone to computer to other phone for the data? Help! Is the iPhone 15 completely updated? There was a bug in quick start in early versions of iOS 17. To be safe, I transferred my data using an iCloud backup instead of quick start when setting up my new iPhone 15 pro last month
