How do I get access to my purchased music on my new MacBook Air?

I purchased hundreds of songs on iTunes over the years. I just got a new iMac Air. When I go Apple Music, only about 30 songs are there. I do not have a menu bar anywhere - not top, bottom, nor does it appear when I hover over the top with the mouse. How do I get my music back and where is the menu bar?

You will need access to your Menu Bar. Is it only disappearing in the Music app? Go to  > System Settings > Control Center > Automatically Hide and Show Menu Bar, and change it to Never. If it is already at Never, then change it to something else and change it back.

If that doesn't solve the problem, then I would suspect that you have an app that is blocking access to your menu bar. The easiest way to determine if that is the case is to post the free EtreCheck report using the Additional Text option when posting. This report does not contain any personal information, but will show any app that launches on startup that could be causing the problem

After you get the menu bar, then you can redownload any Music here:
