I'm unable to backup my iPhone as it does not have enough space

My icloud backup should be less than 1gb but it will not back up because it says I don’t have enough space. There are no other backups saved on my icloud. Seems like Apple is just trying to scam me into paying for more storage.

What that photo doesn't tell us is how much space you have available in iCloud.

You generally need more space on iCloud than just the size of the backup.

Disregard the post that says you shouldn't use iCloud to back up your iPhone. It's wrong.

AlWeir: WHY DO YOU KEEP POSTING THE WRONG, WRONG, WRONG INFORMATION? You post this WRONG information over and over in multiple threads; enough is enough!

iCloud IS BOTH a synchronization service AND a Backup service. They are two separate iCloud features.

Yes, you most emphatically DO use iCloud as "backup solution" for iPads and iPhones. Apple specifically designed it to do that. It's great. It's automatic.

Why would they post the following article if they didn't intend people to use iCloud to back up iPhones and iPads?
