Mac mini M2 on a 4k 144hz monitor
I just bought a mac mini m2 and I am wondering if it will work on a 4k 144hz monitor?

If that Mac mini has a M2 Pro chip, it supports 144 Hz on the HDMI port.

What inputs does the monitor have? Assuming that the monitor is willing to accept a 60 Hz signal, the connection might be
- Thunderbolt to Thunderbolt – unlikely, but there are a few monitors that require Thunderbolt input
- USB-C to USB-C
- USB-C to DisplayPort
- USB-C to Mini DisplayPort
- USB-C to HDMI
- HDMI to HDMI

The advantage of a HDMI to HDMI connection is that it wouldn't tie up one of your two multi-purpose USB-C / TB ports.
