I’ve took it to Apple and they said it’s out of warranty and want £400 to fix it but I still don’t believe a phone that is not that old and in perfect condition should just stop working and it seems to be a common problem as well, not happy at all

Hey, sorry to hear about the black screen issue. 😟 Here’s what you can try:

1. Force Restart: Press and quickly release the Volume Up button, then press and quickly release the Volume Down button, and then press and hold the Side button until the Apple logo appears. 🍏🔄

2. Check for Physical Damage: Look over your phone for any signs of damage. It might not be the issue, but it’s worth a quick check. 🧐

3. Charge the Phone: Connect your iPhone to a charger and let it charge for at least 30 minutes. Sometimes, a low battery can cause display problems. 🔋

4. Connect to a Computer: Plug your phone into a computer using a USB cable and open iTunes (or Finder on macOS Catalina and later). See if your computer recognizes the device. 💻🔌

5. Check for Updates: If your phone is recognized by the computer, look for software updates or try restoring it. 🔄🆙

6. Visit Apple Support: If none of these steps work, it’s best to contact Apple Support or visit an Apple Store. Your phone might still be under warranty. 🏪📞

Hope this helps!
