Why does the FPS drop significantly on my iPad Pro when I play CODM?

Why does the FPS drop significantly (down to 20 FPS) on my iPad Pro 2024 when I play CODM? It's strange because I don't have this issue on my iPad Pro 2022, which consistently runs at 120 FPS. How can I fix this problem?

Contact the App Developer for assistance. The App, as is, may not have been optimised for the 2024 iPad Pro M4 CPU.
