Emoji’s don’t move?
I’ve always owned an iPhone and whenever my sister sends me certain msgs from her android phone that include a emoji/bitmoji , she asks if I can see movement-I can’t/they don’t, why? How do you get that effect?

Seems more like somebody that might prefer to compare and contrast phone features?

As for alternatives for chats, there are many different messaging apps to choose from here too, with some such as Signal focusing on privacy and security, and others such as Apple Messages with a mix of features and privacy and security, and yet other messaging clients mostly focusing on ensuring continued collection of user data.
I believe there is a bitmoji app for iOS. That's probably what your sister has. It's not something I use and I don't know if downloading it would make a difference on what you see.
There are a number of features on each platform that don't work on the other. That's just the way it is.
On iPhones none emojis has moving emotion like others third party devices and emojis aren’t stickers that yes they have emotion moves
