I'm trying to open Bluebook for SAT testing before the test but my mac isn't letting me open. It's not block by admin and I've tried deleting it and reinstalling. Nothing has fixed it. I don't know if the 11 means anything but I've googled it and it seem like no one else has had the 11. Please help!

I got the exact same issue. Turns out that bluebook doesnt actually support mac os 11.7.5 (collegeboard incompetence), I upgraded my to os 14.5 Only when I updgraded it worked. You might not have to go to macos 14, but try 12 or 13.

Update: College Board updated the issue for 11.7.5 today! It now should work if it hasn't before. It works for myself now.

In Disk Utility>View, select Show all Devices, highlight the top left entry.
Run Disk First Aid on all items in the left panel, from top down.
Are you running any VPN, Anti-Virus, or Cleaning apps?
We need to see what all is running, a report from this will not display any personal info...

Hey, college board updated the application today so you should update the app and see if it works!
My mac is on 11.7.1 currently but the minimum is 11.7.5 but my mac says it up to date and doesn't have an available update. Is there anyway to get to manually update it to a newer operating system?

No, not yet sadly. Thought you should probably reach out to the school that is providing the SAT just in case the issue isn't fixed
But the thing is my mac used to be able to open it (about a month ago). I've even taken a full length practice test on the application. I also can't upgrade it to 14, 12, or 13. I'm on a MacBook Pro (Retina).

It depends on your mac model, cause mine is the 2019 mac air and I can update to Macos 14 Sonoma which is the newest version
Update: I've reached out to college board and I have call their technical support during their office hours. So once I call I will update this post and see if they have a solution.
Bluebook continues not to open - "quit unexpectedly". cleared, updated, and reinstalled. same message. Worked in one country, but not in another. Tried on 3 devices, only one worked. Next?

Any updates? My son is taking the SAT this coming Saturday and it would be helpful if this Bluebook could even start.
