back of iphone is breaking off in pieces

The back of my iphone 13 is breaking off in pieces. Does Applecare + cover this and can I take my phone into an Apple store to get it replaced?

There is a cost estimator in this Apple Support document that you have use to get an idea of costs.

It will be up to Apple to determine what will and will not be covered as far as repairs. I would not expect Apple to replace the phone though.

Thank you! I noticed that the only phones in the estimator are 14 and 15 Do you know if 13's are covered too?
