I fiddled with settings on my phone and computer per instructions I found on the internet and they all seemed to be set to ON for shared albums. Finally, I rebooted and the album I wanted showed up! Hallelujah!

I was able to quickly copy all 600+ photos to my hard drive without the long slow process of uploading them to Google Drive or Dropbox and then downloading them to my computer.

the only ones that didn’t show up are ones that have an extension .jpgthumb. Anyone know how to change that to a jpg?

You can see the shared album in a web browser on a computer, if the shared album has been published as a public website. Then you can see the URL in the details for the Shared album and use this URL to access the Shared Album on the Web.

Shared albums are not using your iCloud+ subscription for storage, they are a different part of iCloud, that is free and therefore somewhat limited.
