Tracking stolen IPhone 12
Hello my phone was stolen in a shop, I have the EIMI NUMBER and serial number please how can I use this to track it? I use find my location but still couldn’t get it. The person turn it off when he was in the road
The serial number and IMEI number cannot be used to track the phone.
If you are using Find My to try to track the phone and the message is "Offline", there are several reasons for this:
- The battery has run down
- The phone has been powered off
- The phone does not have an Internet connection where it is located
In addition, iPhone thieves are very fond of placing a stolen phone in a special type of bag that will not allow the phone to either send or receive a signal.
Unfortunately, there is not really anything that you can do about this except keep checking a few times each day to see if the status of the phone has changed.
