Camera Not Detected on MacBook Pro A1502 (Retina, 13-inch, Early 2015)

Hi everyone,

I’m experiencing an issue with the camera on my MacBook Pro A1502 (Retina, 13-inch, Early 2015) running macOS Big Sur 11.7.10 (20G1427). The camera is not being detected by the system, and I’ve tried several troubleshooting steps without success.

Details of the Issue:

  • Mac Model: MacBook Pro A1502 (Retina, 13-inch, Early 2015)
  • macOS Version: macOS Big Sur 11.7.10 (20G1427)
  • Issue Description: The camera is not detected in applications like FaceTime or Photo Booth. I’ve attempted to use the tccplus tool to adjust privacy settings, but the process was killed with a “Killed: 9” message. I also ran Apple Diagnostics, which returned the code ADP000, indicating no issues detected.

Troubleshooting Steps Already Taken:

  1. Restarted Mac and booted into Safe Mode.
  2. Checked and updated macOS to the latest version.
  3. Reset NVRAM/PRAM and SMC.
  4. Verified that no other applications are using excessive resources.
  5. Attempted to restore and execute the tccplus tool with proper permissions.
  6. Ran Apple Diagnostics with code ADP000.

Despite these efforts, the camera remains undetected. Has anyone experienced a similar issue or have any suggestions on how to resolve this?

Thank you for your help!

Best regards,

Aurpita.
