Is it possible to uninstall inbuilt Apps from my MacBook Pro?

When I try to drag and drop apps to the trash on my Mac, they don't disappear. I have also tried using the command and delete combination and nothing happens when I do that as well. I have Googled and YouTubed so many things and have not found a solution. Yes, I have restarted the Mac, twice in fact. I have looked through other Apple Support Communities and haven't found a solution. I really don't understand the issue. I really need help solving this.

Thank you for replying. I did end up chatting with an Apple Support and he also told me this. I did not know certain apps, like Chess for example, would be built-in apps. So, now I know that the ones I wanted to get rid of are pre-loaded and unable to be removed.

The simple answer is that you cannot delete the Mac Apps that came with your computer. They are part of the OS. There are additional Apple apps that you can install, like GarageBand, Numbers, Pages, Keynote, and you can remove those.
