Frustrated with iCloud Backup Downloads

Hi,

Every second day, I see iCloud downloads 25GB of data to my Mac when there are no pending downloads in my iCloud folder. It doesn't even provide any information about what files are being downloaded.

https://cln.nest9.com/rNmyrJdp (iCloud is downloading 33 items, but I have no clue what items these are)

https://cln.nest9.com/drZkWrQc (There's no cloud icon next to any folder in the iCloud folder, indicating that all data is already downloaded to the device)

I need your humble advice on diagnosing these blind downloads, as they are adding up a lot to my bandwidth usage.

Thanks

MacBook Pro 14″, macOS 14.5

You iCloud data is on your Mac. /Users/yourname/Library/Mobile Documents/com-appie~CloudDocs

When you click on iCloud Drive in Finder it shows you what is stored in the location above. If you have updated anything in your documents folder or on your desktop recently it is syncing your data with iCloud. If you do not store anything on your desktop or in Documents you can turn the option off Apple ID>iCloud>iCloud Drive.
