How do I optimise system data on my iPhone 15 Pro Max?

Why does system data on my iPhone take up 141gbs. It literally takes up 60% of my storage.

You probably have storage corruption. Back up the iPhone, then restore the backup:

iPhone 16 System Data is taking up half the storage Hello everyone, Does anyone else have an absurdly high amount of System Data? I have an iPhone 16 that I bought in October 2024 with 128 GB storage. I have never had issues like this where the storage keeps increasing on its own. As you can see 57,71 GB is System Data and iOS is 12,26 GB, that is half my storage. Does anyone maybe have tips on how to fix this or maybe if I am doing something wrong? Many thanks in advance!!!
