I keep dragging some (very short clips, say 14s clips) from photo to iMovie for editing, but I always find that it won’t work.
not that the clips cannot be dragged, nor then can I close iMovie.
it said I can only close iMovie after it finished its tasks. And it said “check activity bar”.
I can’t find activity bar anywhere.
i then had to force quit.
i can’t never get anything done with iMovie these days.

Sometimes a preference can go awry that causes iMovie not to function properly. Try deleting/resetting preferences. Close iMovie and then open it while holding down the Option and Command keys and select to delete preferences in the box that appears. iMovie will open in a new empty library. Reopen your old library to get back to your projects. See if iMovie works properly. Possibly you may need to reboot to set the changes.
