Password reset endless circle

I’ve been attempting to log onto my work computer and it asked for my password like it does daily. Under my password and it tells me it’s incorrect. I spent the last hour trying to reset the password but it asked for an Apple ID that I don’t remember. When I go to reset the Apple ID password it push me into an endless loop asking for a password, I trusted phone number receiving an ID code back to entering and over and over. I can’t even get an ID code sent to my phone. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
