Clearing Apple Mail Cache in Monterey (and probably other macOS)

God know WHY it's so hard to find this out. And why isnt there a Clear Cache in Mail as there is in Safari when so much of mail is HTML?!?!? Particularly for those of us who design graphics in emails. 🤓

I wanted to post a reply to an old thread but it was locked.

Mac Mail not refreshing HTML images in si… - Apple Community

  1. Make sure you have quit Mail.
  2. Instead of changing Containers, which I believe is a restore system, I think it's better to delete/move the whole folder named "RemoteContentURLCache" (by choosing Go to Folder in the Go menu and pasting this):

~/Library/Mail/V9/MailData/RemoteContentURLCache/

Then you can open Mail and it should reload all images.

Hope you found this useful!☺️
