Mail autofills my old email address

When I compose a new email in Apple mail, my old .me email address always autofills. The old address is NOT in my Contact Card. How can I stop the autofill of the old address?

What do you mean? Do you mean that when you are composing a new email, your old email autofills as the sender? Is this old email still in your Mail app’s accounts? Check Settings > Mail > Accounts > remove the old email. If you are composing a new email from your correct Apple email address, it will autofill with your current email that you’re using. If this is not the issue, please be more detailed in your question and issue.

If you mean your .me email autofills your text area, that may mean you have an email signature enabled. Here’s how you can disable your email signature or change it: Create an email signature in Mail on iCloud.com - Apple Support
