Why do my Airpod Pro 2 keep disconnecting from bluetooth

I will be using the Airpod pros while watching TV in Adaptive Audio mode and almost every night I will hear the bluetooth disconnect sound twice. This started happening when the latest version of the airpod software was updated. How do I get it to stop doing this?
