Can a first gen airpods pro fit in a 2nd gen case ?
I have a dead airpods pro first gen case, can i buy a 2nd gen case of the AirPods pro , will they fit ? And work properly ?

No, you cannot use AirPods Pro (1st generation) in an AirPods Pro (2nd generation) Charging Case. If you try to use them together, you will get a mismatch error on your iPhone and the Charging Case will play an error chime.
You can request a replacement case for your AirPods Pro by contacting Apple Support. You can find more info here: AirPods Replacement, Repair, & Service - Apple Support. Apple estimates that the replacement will be $99 USD for an AirPods Pro (1st generation) Charging Case at the time of writing this.
