Issue with Adding Cards to Apple Pay on Apple Watch – Assistance Needed

Hello,

I’m experiencing an issue with Apple Pay on my Apple Watch. I can successfully add my card to Apple Pay on my iPhone, but when I try to add the same card to Apple Pay on my Apple Watch, I receive an error message stating that the card cannot be added and that I should contact my card issuer. I’ve reached out to my bank multiple times, and they’ve confirmed that there are no issues with my card.

I also tried resetting my Apple Watch and attempting to add the card again, but now I’m unable to add any of my cards to Apple Pay on the watch. I suspect there may be a bug causing this problem. Could you please advise on how to resolve this issue?

Thank you.

Please make sure all the software is deleted from both devices involved. It use be deleted. Then go to this path,

iPhone > Settings > General > VPN & Device Management > delete any profiles related to VPN

Next step is to reset Network Settings. Please follow this path,

iPhone > Settings > General > Transfer or Reset (Device) > Reset > Reset Network Settings

Force restart your iPhone. A force restart is more than just turning your iPhone off and on. If you’re not familiar with the process, follow the instructions in the support articles I’ve linked below.

Then try adding a card that was already in your Wallet app. The Regions Bank issue, may be a separate issue. We can troubleshoot that once we get know good cards back into your Wallet app.
