How to clear storage data from Apple Map application?

so I usually don’t use the maps app only a few times but it’s taking 14,4gb on my phone and I’m not being able to delete the data, can anyone please help me?

Why is my Apple Maps taking up 27 GB of storage space? For some reason, my Apple Maps takes up 27 GB of storage space. I have tried to delete the app, restart my phone, and offload the app. I also made sure there was no offline maps or data downloaded. I also turned it off in my Apple ICloud storage settings. Even when the app is uninstalled it continues to take up more space. I need to update my phone which will hopefully fix the issue. However, it’s really hard to do that when every time I make space, apple maps takes that space so quickly. Any solutions please? I don’t want to back up and reset my phone.
