Updating to Mac OS from Big Sur causes infinite loading
Hello.
Recently, I decided to do update my MacBook as it had been really laggy and bad while I was using Big Sur to the newest version. After the updating was completed, I found out that every time the white bar would become full and it would ask me to click on my hard-drive, I was sent back to the beginning of the loading thing and so it would repeat itself.
I tried doing Alt/Opt and clicking on Untitled brought me to a 🚫 sign that I could only get rid of by powering off my computer. Clicking EFI Boot brought me back to the original hard-drive selection and repeated the cycle. I even tried doing the Command + R command and there was no option to check for any damage for my hard-drive, there were no saved spaces in my Time Machine and I don’t want to go to all the way back to Mavericks.
if anyone has a solution, that would be great. Thanks.
