Same prob as earlier users: can't log in to apple tv. code is sent to iPhone, but there is no place on the tv to submit it; have tried suggested solution (manually requesting ver code and appending to password) but did not work. Any ideas?

The ‘suggestion solution’ is for the legacy models Apple TV box. Not other devices, not newer models. Only for Store sign-in, not for iCloud. iCloud services aren’t compatible anymore [1] with the legacy models.
