What does a Red dot on my iPhone 11 indicate?

Hello,

I recently noticed a small red dot on the lower right of my I Phone 11. Google search suggests maybe new VM, not the reason. One suggests microphone recording? Could not find in settings. Anyone have an answer for this issue? Thank you in advance for any help.
