For some reason, I have been having the caution sign over the battery icon show up only when my MacBook is locked, the battery health is good and once I go in, it goes away. This really isn't a problem for me right now but I would like to know if it's a bad sign of something happening to my MacBook, does anyone have any what's causing it?

Ignore the battery icon information on the lock screen as it is not reliable, this includes the charge level. My guess it is due to security/privacy issues since you are not logged in at that moment. I only began noticing that issue several years ago when the extra security & privacy features were added into macOS.
Thanks for the help! It only showed up recently for me which weirded me out for a bit, if as long as it's not a major problem I'll be ok with it. Thanks again!
