2017 15inch MacBook Pro Battery Bulged. Need to change. Apple say, no support for this model

Hi,

I have 2017 15th MacBook Pro. Model No A1707. Battery performance is very bad. And yesterday I noticed Battery is swollen. I could feel the bulge outside. Took MacBook to Apple Authorized service center and they said it is Vintage Product, meaning no support will be provided anywhere in the world. All I have to do it trade the MAC with new one. Except the battery, performance, display and everything else is perfect.

I spoke with customer service, and they said the same thing. Apple stopped providing support for this model and I just have to trade or trash it. If I continue using this, battery may blast anytime.

They also gave me option to change the battery at third party vendors and Apple will not provide any warranty for this.

I just want to know how I verify the battery at 3rd Party Vendor. Also, the price 3rd party vendor quotes is just 10th of what Apple service vendor Quotes.

I am in India, Telangana, Hyderabad

Please provide inputs.
