cannot set time in new UI for alarm clock

Last night (Aug 7, 2024) a new UI was pushed for alarm clock. This new interface comes up when you hit change alarm for scheduled alarm. NOTHING is actually “clickable” on the new UI page except cancel or done. There is a “change wake up” at top which does nothing. There is now a graphic for bedtime and wake-up which do. I thing. There is a (useless) large round 24hr “clock face” which does nothing. There are greyed out floating icons near clock face which do nothing. So now I can no longer change times for alarm.

That is not a new interface for the alarm. That's Sleep Tracking in health. It's not new. You should be able to change it by putting your finger on the little clock and moving it.

However, if you just want to set an alarm, you don't need to use Sleep Tracking. YOu still set an alarm exactly the way you have for at least a decade. Go to the Clock app. Tap on "Alarms" at the bottom of the screen. Then, tap on the "+" in the upper right corner and set the alarm.
