Unable to pair earbuds to my iPad 10th Gen
have 10th gen iPad. I have two different sets (manufacturers) of ear buds. I can’t pair them with the iPad. Why? They do pair fine with my iPhone.

Many Bluetooth accessorises can only be paired with a single device at any one time. You may need to unpair or reset the ear-buds following the manufacturer's instructions - before you can pair them with a different device.

Consider using Apple AirPods instead. In so doing, pairing with one device pairs the AirPods with all devices that use the same AppleID - and the AirPods will automatically switch to whichever device is being used.
When simultaneously using multiple devices, the AirPods will switch to whichever device starts to play media.
Thanks for answering. Wish it was auto like WiFi once assigned.
