Cannot shared loaded CDs in Itunes with my spouse

Hi,

I have loaded music from physical CDs in iTunes Version 12.13.2.3

(running under Windows 10 PC) and I can synchronize easily on my Iphone using Itunes.

My wife have her own account on the same PC. I have installed iTunes in her PC account, logged in to iTunes using my Apple ID and modify the iTunes Media to point to my iTunes Media folder where all the loaded CDs are (I also gave her access in Read mode to my iTunes Media folder and subfolders on the PC). But I don't see anything in iTunes - not a songs not an album except for an album I have purchased.

I have also turn on the Home Sharing on both iTunes and check in the "share the full library" in the preference as well.

Is there any way to share all the CDs I have loaded with her iTunes and / or to synchronize my library to her iPhone ?

I have read a lot of web page but did not find any solutions to help me.

Thanks a lot for your help

All you need to do is File/Add Folder to Library on your wife's Windows account and navigate to the folders with the music files in them.

For example, if all the files from your CDs are in the users/<wife's account>/iTunes/iTunes Media/... then use File/Add Folder to Library and navigate to users/wife's account>/iTunes/iTunes Media and add that folder.

The setting Edit/Preferences/Advanced>iTunes Media folder location is where any future imports from CD will be added. It does not manage existing digital files (i.e what tracks from a CD become after importing them). You should not need to use Home Sharing if both accounts are on the same PC.
