Is MacBook sinking in internet importance?

After years of enjoy using [[sinc 400]] in Pages to make pauses in text to speech I found that I forgot how to achieve this. I went to look on line for the [[sinc]] command. After ages of looking I found nothing that told me this simple method. I got nowhere looking for all sorts of references to find the command. It only happened that I stumbled upon the method nearly by accident. I wondered why in the world can finding things online have become so difficult in a more modern world. It was all about dictating rather than playing back text to speech. Is there no general sites on Pages commands that are not on YouTube but, rather simply written down for viewers to read? So many things these days have been harder and harder to find online as if the ppl are failing to properly reference the items many ppl still use and want. When I did use [[sinc]] sometimes rather than pause it simply read it back? What has happened to MacBooks?
