Can I walk in for a iPhone battery replacement at Apple?

Make an appointment if you are heading to the Apple Store.

If you are going to be using another Apple authorized service shop, appointments are usually not needed, but it would be a good idea to call in advance to make sure that the shop has the correct battery for your phone in stock.

With luck, you may be able to wait for the battery service, but it also might be a good idea to plan to run an errand or two and then return to the shop a bit later.

I’m certain that’s not the case. You’ll need to schedule an appointment with them to replace your battery or any other component. Although I’ve never done this because I live in Hungary, and Apple Stores aren’t an established concept there.

It’s not impossible to get a walk in for same day replacement, but it’s also not very likely.
