ANEcompilerservice taking cpu

Ive noticed these pass couple of days there is a process called "ANEcompilerservice" that would take 30-40% of the cpu power and when i look at it, it would use 0% cpu. Does anyone know what it is and how to solve it?

MacBook Air 13″, macOS 14.6

are you sure thats what it is? even when im using high amounts of cpu its there

Yep! It is a private framework signed by Apple and cannot be altered. There are no API's that developers can use to access it directly, but it is used by the system to assist in Machine Learning. The exact location for this Framework is at: /System/Library/PrivateFrameworks/AppleNeuralEngine.framework/XPCServices/ANECompilerService.xpc

You have no control over when it starts or when it finishes. If you attempt to Quit the process in Activity Monitor, it will just start back up again. That is what it is supposed to do.

It is the Apple Neural Engine used for many aspects of your computer and also available on the iPhone. It is essential for object detection in photos as well as Siri Suggestions. It is a process that will typically run in the background when the device is not being used heavily. Once the CPU is needed for a user process, like using Activity Monitor, you will see that CPU% go down so the computer can focus on your actions.
