Why is my Apple Pay not connecting to the reader?
Does anybody else have the issue where your cards on apple wallet come up but Apple Pay only gives the prompt to hold near the reader yet never connects with the reader?

You need to contact Apple Support and ask that remote diagnostics be done on your iPhone. Particularly, if the NFC module is working properly.
