Mini 12

Have anyone dropped the iPhone mini 12 being in an OtterBox case quit charging or the battery just stopped charging telling me it might not be an Apple product. The phone is lightly used didn’t even track. The screen didn’t do any damage to the phone itself, but now won’t charge and tell me that it may not be an apple thing component anybody got ideas or ever heard of such a thing
